  1. Scott,
GREAT NEWS!!! These are the reporting features we have been talking to you about and waiting for!!!

One quick question; are there any issues with using the same DB and just upgrading? I ask because we have lost tracking data in the past with some of the upgrades (as you are well aware of).

Thanks in advance and good work!

    • Hey Will,

      Glad to hear!

The upgrade should not affect the Fastvue data store in anyway. We’ve had the beta out for six weeks now and there haven’t been any reported issues there. But we do recommend backing up your data location as a precaution before any major upgrade.

Simply upgrade by running the new installer over the top of your TMG Reporter installation. Hit next throughout the wizard without making any changes to keep all your existing settings (install site, data location etc). Clear your browser cache after installing (ctrl + F5).

Let us know how you go!

      Cheers!
      Scott
